The Problem: Non-Compliant Security Installation Pharmacies in Virginia are required by law to maintain a secure environment that includes proper surveillance camera coverage , access control for restricted areas , and reliable alarm systems . Unfortunately, the original installer for this pharmacy failed to meet these standards, leaving the business at risk of regulatory violations and potential fines. Our Solution: Code-Compliant Pharmacy Security Our team performed a full site evaluation and designed a security system that addressed every compliance issue. The upgrades included: Pharmacy surveillance cameras with full coverage of dispensing, storage, and entry points. Access control systems to ensure only authorized staff can enter sensitive medication areas. Organized wiring and professional equipment installation that aligned with industry codes. A final walkthrough and staff training session to ensure the system was easy to use and fully functional.
